Service Description
Mr. Friske offers expert, personalized college admissions advising, drawing on his training in UCLA College Counseling and his experience in a nationally ranked high school advising office. He works closely with students and families to guide them through every stage of the college admissions process, from early academic planning in middle school to final application submission in senior year. His services include one-on-one advising, essay coaching with multiple rounds of edits, and mock interviews informed by his experience as a graduate school interviewer. Mr. Friske also helps students build strategic application narratives and secure strong letters of recommendation. He curates personalized, data-driven college lists that align with each student’s goals, academic profile, and values. He also provides AP® and admissions test prep, as well as mentorship for students pursuing research, internships, or thesis projects. For students facing academic or personal challenges, Mr. Friske offers compassionate and strategic guidance to help them navigate setbacks and reframe their stories. Through every step of the journey, Mr. Friske ensures each student feels confident, supported, and ready to succeed.
Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellation Policy The Admissions Advising New Family Consult is a complimentary introductory meeting for prospective Cambridge Letters families. This consultation provides an opportunity to discuss the student’s educational background, college admissions goals, current needs, and whether Cambridge Letters’ advising services may be an appropriate fit. Cost There is no charge for the Admissions New Family Consult. Because this is a complimentary consultation, no payment or refund provisions apply. Cancellations and Rescheduling We understand that schedules change. If you are unable to attend your scheduled consultation, please cancel or reschedule as early as possible, preferably at least 24 hours before the appointment. Families may reschedule their complimentary consultation through the booking system or by contacting Cambridge Letters directly. Late Arrivals Consultations begin and end at the scheduled times. If a family arrives late, the consultation may need to be shortened so that subsequent appointments can begin on time. Missed Appointments Because consultation appointments reserve time that could otherwise be offered to another family, we ask that families notify Cambridge Letters if they are unable to attend. Families who miss an appointment without notice may be asked to contact Cambridge Letters directly before scheduling another complimentary consultation. Purpose of the Consultation The New Family Consult is intended as an introductory conversation and does not constitute enrollment in Cambridge Letters’ admissions advising program. No ongoing adviser-client relationship is created until the family selects an advising service, completes any required enrollment documentation, and satisfies the applicable payment requirements. The consultation may include a general discussion of the student’s academic profile, admissions goals, college list, application timeline, and Cambridge Letters’ available services. It is not intended to provide a comprehensive admissions evaluation or complete advising session. Admissions Outcomes College and university admissions decisions are made independently by each institution. Cambridge Letters cannot guarantee admission, scholarships, financial aid, or any particular admissions outcome. Students Under 18 A parent or legal guardian is encouraged to participate in the initial consultation for students under the age of 18.
